Season 1 - The Demon Chronicles

Episode 1 - Touching Nightmares

     Ten years after the Sword of Serpents vanished durring the was that took place all over the Tarn Solvaney, a new threat awakens.

     With the King and Queen's resources depleted, they must reach out to areas outside their realm for help. Two heroes from different churches are contacted and follow a supernatural trail to Drebden. Along the way they meet a half-orc who offers his fighting services in hopes of eventually finding out what happened to his clan that dissapeared.

     In Drebden the heroes work with the local authorities to capture a serial killer responsible for three murders where the previous fictim's six finger bones are chiseled into sharp shards and inserted into the head forming a crown.

Episode 2 - Burn it to the Ground

Previously in Tarn Solvaney...

    

  • 10 years after the Serpent Army invasion, a new group of heroes begin to uncover details of a growing evil in Drebden.

  • Serial murders in the city of Drebden where bodies are found with six sharpened finger bones of the pervious victim forced into their head to form a crown.

  • Sallah Telgar, a recent victim and survivor of an attack is also witness to another murder being committed. She tells the heroes of a supernatural killer that can evidently move from person to person by touch.

  • Agents of Demogorgon have been found in the city ruins searching for something.

  • Heroes are working with William Vollen, the city watch captain, to find the killer.

  • The latest victim, and the previous person possessed, is tracked back to their house to reveal that he was shipping something on board the ship called The Damnation.

  • The shipment turns out to be wine barrels, but one has a hidden compartment. When the barrel is opened, the group quickly finds themselves the target of flying demon Vrock.

  • Captain Hurst of The Damnation provides his ship's weapons to the heroes to fight against the demon.

  • The demon is shot down and harmlessly crashes into the water of Drebden's harbor.

  • The concealed compartment of the opened barrel contains a piece of strange jewelry that was being shipped to someone in Skullport by the name of Transtra.

 

Cut Scene...

 

With a loud screech, the Vrock barrels into the water creating a large splash that sends a wave of water toward the ship that rocks it gently. The docks are clear from people that were warned to take cover moments ago, but a lone person in dark clothing and a hood pulled up to hide their face stares intently in The Damnation's direction. There's only one person near the robed figure, he's starting to crawl out of a hiding place to gather up a group of horses that he must of tied to the dock before he went into hiding.

 

The figure will watch for a while as the boat returns to its dock position before he pulls back his hood to reveal a face described by Sallah as Tony. He will rush over to grab the reins of a horse and will struggle with the horse's owner. Tony will eventually push the man and then punch him in the face sending him to the ground. Tony will then pull himself onto the horse and begin riding into the city.

Episode 3 - Possesive Travels

Previously in Tarn Solvaney...

    

  • Tony is seen on the Dock after the flying demon Vrock splashes down into the harbor. Once Tha Damnation reaches the dock, the heroes chase after Tony trhough the streets of Debden on horseback.

  • The chase leads to a market square filled with people where Tony dismounts from his horse and attempts to lose the heroes in the crowd. Before he can do so, Leth'ael puts him into a deep sleep.

  • The city watch arrives on the scene as Tony is being tied up and bound, he is quickly moved to the closest city jail. All prisoners within the jail are relocated so that the demon within Tony can't escape or transfer to someone else.

  • With funds provided by the city, the heroes begin construction of a vehcle capable of keeping Tony chained up and caged so that he can be trasported to Velanthomyr in hopes that the Faemyr church can help defeat the possessing demon.

  • That evening the heroes are attacked by foul smelling two-headed dogs, a flying suit of armor known as Gauntlet, and his fire breathing dog. When defeated, Gauntlet vanishes, but Darriq gathers up the other bodies and burns them in the back of the Inn.

  • Triel, hurt and bloodied, shows up to inform the heroes that a suit of armor attacked the jail and freed Tony from his cell. Triel was knocked out for a short time but made it out, but she finds she was too late to warn the heroes.

  • They quickly head to the jail and start tracking Tony down like they've before.

  • Tony's trail leads them to house in a nice part of the city. Within the house, Leth'ael puts Tony to sleep once again, but when he goes to leave the house everything goes wrong.

  • The nicely furnished house turns into a nightmare, the baby and the two women that live there turn into demons, the house is full of body parts hanging from the ceiling and dripping blood.

  • Once the fight is over, the heroes burn the house to the ground. They then get the smithy that is building the transport wagon to hurry and finish it as soon as possible, they plan on leaving the next day.
